Serving the north-east of Nigeria (Week 1)

And so the first week in the north-east of Nigeria (close to Cameroon border) flashed past. What a privilege it was to spend time with more than 80 leaders. The small groups worked perfectly and the discussions were lively, especially when it came to the Bible and culture.

Please pray for this group of leaders that the Holy Spirit will continue the work He started - changing their reading and interpretation of Bible texts as well as renewing their minds, thoughts and actions.

Don’t we all want this for ourselves as well?!

And then it will be week two with another group of leaders (a small group will be the same as they are eager to learn more).

Pray with me:

- For my strength and health

- For their open hearts and minds to the work of the Spirit

- For wisdom in our way forward here in this area but also others in Nigeria

- For Esmé and Ivanna at home, but also Pastor Joe’s family (he joined me from Abuja)

May you experience the Lord’s work in your life in a tangible way this week
