Bauchi, North Eastern Nigeria
The words of a pastor after this weeks zoom training in Bauchi, North East Nigeria: “He wants to appreciate the situation. From the on start when he came and he was told that the programme was going to be for a week. And he came and discovered it is a screen - he cannot see the teacher and the teacher cannot even see you (that is what it felt like to him in the beginning). So he felt discouraged and wanted to go back. And even the first day and the second day. So on the third day he started understanding the whole situation and on the forth day he understood and wanted everything to be extended so he could learn even more. So that is why he wants to appreciate and thank TWT for giving them this opportunity. May God increase your work and reach!”
Well I also felt much like he did - technology struggled the first day and only from Wednesday it seems that lights were going on in group’s faces. Although they were pastors, missionaries and evangelists there understanding of the Bible felt very shallow and they struggled to understand what they read in the Bible. We spent so much time just reading and talking about what we read in the Bible.
